AlienPants and Joystick Junkies to exhibit classic Games T-Shirts - 3rd April 2001

LONDON - 28 January, 2002 - AlienPants Ltd. (www.alienpants.com) in association with Joystick Junkies (www.joystickjunkies.com) will be holding a classic videogame T-Shirt Exhibition at the Joystick Junkies club night on 11th April 2002. Based on the collection of the CEO of AlienPants, Tom Gordon, the exhibition will feature promotional t-shirts for a number of classic titles such as Doom, Quake 2, Quake 3, Diablo 2 and Nox, as well as signed and rare games t-shirts.

The aim is to create a retrospective of computer gaming through the promotional T-Shirts created for them. The promotional T-Shirts that are given out during the run-up to a game's launch are often treated purely as part of the marketing process, yet the interest in some of these t-shirts by fans of the games can be quite intense. Often these T-Shirts can also reflect the way a game is marketed as well as the changing graphical style of a developer or a franchise.

AlienPants would like to hear from anyone who would like to donate or contribute their own t-shirts to this exhibition, especially if they are from before 2000. Please contact Tom Gordon (cro@alienpants.com) if you would like more information.
