LONDON -2 December 2002 - AlienPants Ltd (www.alienpants.com) is pleased to announce the launch of news0r.com.

Headed up by Charlotte “Squaly” McCarron and Michael “MikeyBear” Large, news0r aims to be the primary portal for daily games news in the UK. Updated throughout the day with information about PC and Console games, as well as breaking news form the games industry, the site will be a one-stop shop for people who want to find out the latest news about games on all formats, from the home PC through to mobile games.

News0r's content will also be made available through non-traditional means, with a subset of daily games news headlines already available via on-request SMS. Launching shortly will be a WAP version of news0r, giving WAP users access to the same headlines as web users, and WAP-formatted access to feature articles and longer news stories. The WAP site is currently in final testing, and is expected to launch within two weeks.

News0r also supports next-generation technology, with a specific version of the website available via PDA and MMS-enabled mobile phones. PDA users will be able to access a limited amount of information from the site directly, with the entire site, including PDA-specific news and features available for a small monthly subscription.

“For a long time we've been providing written content to other people in support of their own news and games services, ” says Tom Gordon, CEO of AlienPants. “With news0r we have decided to go back to grass roots and launch the kind of daily games news service that appeals to us as gamers.”
