T-Mobile To Add AlienPants’ GTIP to T-Zones

- 1st June 2004

LONDON – 1 June 2004 - AlienPants Ltd (www.alienpants.com) has licensed their premium SMS-based Hints, Tips and Cheats service to T-Mobile as an additional service available to customers via the T-Zones WAP portal. Integration has been completed, and GTIP via WAP will be available shortly.

Customers will be able to request Hints, Tips and Cheats for PC and Console games by access the GTIP WAP page on T-Zones, using the page to ask a question about any game, on any console. The question is then passed to AlienPants’ core GTIP service, where a live Cheat Master replies with an answer via SMS to the customer’s mobile phone.

This is the first time that the GTIP service has been made available via a WAP page, with replies still being sent via SMS, and will be available seven days a week, between Midday and Midnight. Questions asked outside these times will be recorded and answered as soon as the service opens the following day.

“GTIP is available anywhere at almost any time, so you can find out the specific cheat, hint or tip you need while you’re playing the game,” said Tom Gordon, CEO of AlienPants. “Just pause the game, send in your question, and in a few minutes the answer will come straight back to your phone, letting you continue playing.”

“As mobile handsets become more prevalent,” continued Tom, “immediate access to information is becoming more important. With the launch of GTIP on the T-Zones portal, anyone will be able to access games hints, tips, cheats and game release date information quickly and easily using the mobile Internet.”

Access to GTIP via WAP will not be restricted to T-Mobile customers, with anyone able to access the service via WAP through the T-Zones WAP portal.
