That new Rainbow Six game

Back in the day when Xbox Live was relatively new there was a game that a number of friends and I played on a regular basis, the game was Rainbow Six 3 and it was released in 2003.
I played the Rainbow Six 3 a lot back then and I really enjoyed the online game play. While Black Arrow was enjoyable I was a bit disappointed with Lockdown as it wasn’t really addictive like the first game in the popular series. Ubisoft’s community voiced it’s concerns and the good thing is that it looks like the feedback was used in a positive way with the latest incarnation of the series.
Thanks to Josh for the heads up on the Rainbow Six: Vegas demo. The demo was on the Xbox Live Marketplace around 5pm, a couple of hours late but after playing it a number of times I’m really impressed with it. I really can’t wait to get the final code.
As I’m now working part time I’ve got a little more time on my hands to play games via Xbox Live and it is looking likely that I’ll need to enlist the help of some friends to form a team to play the online modes properly. Lets see, ideally it would be really cool to have some gaming partners for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent, Rainbow Six: Vegas and of course Gears of War… ping me if you’re interested.
I’ve always played Ghost Recon since it’s incarnation on Xbox, and some of the Rainbox Six series, excluding the chaff you mentioned. Tacticaly shooters have always been a favourite of mine, glad you’re a fan too. Gears of war is totally different though, I am sure it’ll be alot more arcade like, than either of the Tom Clancy title’s you mention. I don’t even feel massively excited about GoW to tell you the truth…

I’m really enjoying SCDA at present but I’m quite excited in RBV. We will have to link for some games dude. With GoW can you really believe all the hype or is it the killer app for the Xbox 360?

i dont find GOW that exciting, especially as it can be completed on normal and hard mode in one day.
im more interested in the brilliance of RB6 to tell the truth

I am sure GoW will be visually stunning, and it will be a solid game, but for me I see me putting ALOT more time into RB6:Vegas than I do GoW. I hear that Ubisoft pledge 4 player Co-Op support for Vegas too, another killer feature I yearn for in these types of games. Luke, do you play GRAW much? I’m stll loving playing Chapter 2, though i often find myself playing the missions by myself. It’s not as bad as it seems, but if you have the content, we should have a wonder through the Mines…
I am a big fan of these kinds of games in ‘Hardcore mode’. Take for example GRAW, for titles I truely love, I usually find myself playing them in ‘hard’ first, like GRAW, because I just like to soak up the game, and play it to it’s full potential. I hate people who use guides and walkthroughs etc, how lame!?

I do like GRAW, I havent downloaded Chapter 2 yet… how many points is it? Steve just let me know when you want a game and I’ll try and get on Xbox Live.
