At last I’ve managed to find a really neat web-based application for my photos. I’ve searched the net for ages trying to find a tag-map but I was unsuccessful until I read Ben T’s blog. Flickr has launched a tag-map for pictures and I’ve gotta find some time to add, tag around 2000 pictures!
Just watched Pans Labyrinth and it is one amazing movie. It’s a Spanish movie but it has a great story. Try and watch Pans Labyrinth as soon as you can. You’ll really enjoy it but this thing is *really* creepy!
… And I ended up with Pans Labyrinth.
I went to see friend of mine who owns an internet / gaming cafe just down the road from my house. While I was in the cafe, Mark ended up showing me the newly built gaming centre and it looks impressive. The extension to the shop only took four days to build and it has enough space to fit four PC’s or Xbox 360’s. I think that a lot of opportunities will arise in the near future and the cool thing is that there are plans to extend the gaming centre… this is going to be great for the local community as there are not many facilities in this area that cater for the general youth.
If the internet / gaming cafe can keep the youth of the streets or hanging around street corners then one of the main objectives of the centre will be achieved. I’ve expressed my interest to the local council to work more within the community, obviously in my spare time but the hope is to cut crime in the area and get youngsters involved in social projects. I’ll post more about this project in due course but I think you’ll agree that is a worthy cause
Last Sunday I was checking out the official TimeShift website and noticed the obvious countdown timer. At the time it had something like five days, 20 hours, 14minutes, 34 seconds and 103 milliseconds until the new TimeShift trailer was due to be released. I’ve just checked the site and it looks like the countdown timer was reset unless I’ve somehow traveled back in time, Dr Who is messing with my head or the official site is stuck in a time looping vortex…
I really want to get some hands on time with Time Shift because I played the Atari demo last year but since Sierra acquired the rights for the game it’s gone through a total transformation, c’mon Sierra show us the game!

My wartime chum Dicker is currently hosting a pretty cool competition. You can win a Limited Edition CCCP World in Conflict Jacket by creating fan art of the game. You can find out more via WiCHQ.com, good luck!
I’m an avid watcher and reader of the BBC’s Click show and I just came across this article about Game consoles’ web strategy. The article is pretty interesting as it covers the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360’s online offerings… the other interesting thing is that the reporter has got a number of quotes from John Houlihan, of Computer and Video Games.
I had lunch with John at a Prey press event many moons ago and I think, Gareth worked with John a few times.
I totally forgot to post this during the week but I published my Spiderman 3 preview via: News0r.com and on license to Totally360.com and TotallyPS3.com. I hope that once you’ve read the preview you’ll be inclined to go buy the game and watch the new movie on Friday.
I’ve got google alerts sending me World in Conflict alerts and as soon as I get them, I’ll post them up on here or via the forum. Some of the following links may be a bit dated but at least you’ll be kept up-to-date with latest WiC news

A couple of cool things have happened today. First up there is a new World in Conflict Q&A on Play.tm and secondly, Sierra Entertainment has sponsored the CPL World Tour with F.E.A.R. and World in Conflict.
Since I started working in the games industry I received a lot of cool things over the years but I think 2K Games have really capped it off with this Darkness assets case:

Ben posted about this on Friday and I forgot about it until I spotted the case lurking in the darkness.
