Apples iPhone may be available in August, I wonder if it’s capable of playing mobile games? On the subject of mobile games, check out Monster Mobs mobile games site.

If you can just see dots above then you need to install the Japanese language pack and obviously understand Japanese.

Vice Night

Filed under: Friends, Gatherings, Work, Movies — Duke @ 2:12 am

No not that type of vice but I’ve just got back from a pre-screening of Miami Vice at 20th Century Fox offices in London. The movie was interesting and the action was good but at times the movie was slightly dull.

Ah yeh, to those that attended the event tonight – what happened to the title credits? And did you notice the PS2, Xbox ad? ;)

Snake Eyes

Filed under: Gatherings, Games, Mobile, Work — Duke @ 2:18 am

Tonight, well last night was pretty cool. A few days ago I received an invite to Player One’s Sports launch which was taking place at the Electric Cinema down in Notting Hill Gate in London. The event was pretty sweet and I really enjoyed it as the organizers put on a great show to highlight the important of mobile sports games. You can check out the new range of mobile sports titles via this link, of course once it’s finally developed ;)

Anyhoo, the organizers held a raffle and I whacked my business card into a pot. Later on in the evening and obviously after a few alcoholic beverages… my business card was picked out of the draw and I won a Professional Poker Playing set (see picture below):

Pretty cool huh? I bet it cost a good few quid! A massive thank you goes out to Player One Mobile!

Blog Update #4

Filed under: My Blog — Duke @ 4:25 pm

Following on from last months update I’m keen to find out how to add media to my blog, something similar to youtube.com flash videos but featuring media that I like from game trailers or whatever - whenever I’ve embedded code into Word Press it doesn’t seem to work – any ideas?

I’m going to look at expanding MoSoSo Mobile Social Software / Networking around my blog mainly experimental but it would be cool to see how it pans out, plus tagging keywords for search engine optimisation. Talking about optimisation, at some point I’ve got to make my blog viewable via mobile phones, PDA’s etc

That’s it for now, until next time.

On a train with Prey

Filed under: Friends, Gatherings, Work — Duke @ 7:57 pm

I’m absolutely knackered after spending most of yesterday travelling between London and Manchester but I did manage to play Prey on the train whilst having a chat with a lovely lady from Stockport :)

1.3 Mega Pixel phone camera and the frikkin pictures still come out blurry!

The blogger bug

Filed under: Friends, Games — Duke @ 10:07 pm

It seems as if blogging has become a new craze within the games community as many people are now creating their own blogs and posting about all types of cool things. As you can see on my blog I’ve got a list to most of my friends within the industry and most of them have blogs. Take a look at Ben Talbots blog, he posts some rather interesting things about what hes up to on OXM 360 whilst Wayne posts about his experiences within the Xbox Live community.

Anyway, my good old mate Gareth Williams AKA Vagus has got the blogging bug and has created LadPad.net. The blog site only went live today but it looks pretty sweet so far. Now I’m just wondering when the hobbits going to go nuts and fully customise it? Check it out!

When it’s done…

Filed under: Xbox 360, Digital Lifestyle — Duke @ 8:16 pm

Today, the team at Totally360.com have embarked upon a new venture. The new project is exclusive to the Xbox 360 has been titled ‘Project: Engage’. As some of you know and for those reading this, I never divulge any information on any projects that we are working on until it’s made public or when it’s done, but in this case the same applies and you’ll only have to wait a matter of weeks before finding out what we are up too!

I’ll be blogging about the projects progress as and when things develop but from what I’ve seen of it so far, I think you’ll be presently surprised… until next time ;)
