BSG: The Epic Journey
November 25th, 2008The trailer for the final season of Battlestar Galactica is now online. It looks like the final season will be aired in January 2009. It is such a shame the series has to end.

A couple of weeks ago I was sitting in front of the TV and an advertisement for Envirofone.com came on the air. The advertisement proclaimed that they’d offer you money for your old cell phone(s) and recycle them in an environmentally friendly way - this was appealing because I had a couple of cell’s gathering dust in my pad and I didn’t want to just chuck them out in the trash.
I signed up to the website, registered and entered the details of the cell phone’s that I had in my possession. I received an email confirmation of my account alongside an email detailing the next steps. Within a few days Envirofone.com had sent me an envelop containing a couple of stickers with their address details and a letter recommending that I send the cell’s via registered post.
The cell’s were sent to Envirofone.com a couple of days after I received the instructions in the post. I waited for a few days and then checked the progress of the trade via the website. That’s pretty cool because they inform you via email and the tracking system exactly what is happening with the trade(s). Fast forward a few days and I received a couple of cheques in the post. Considering the fact that I didn’t spend a penny on the cell’s I traded, I got a pretty good deal. The cheques totaled £95 ($190 CDN) which is nice.
If you have any cell/mobile phone’s laying around your house, then I highly recommend you sign up to Envirophone and trade them in for cash. At least you know that they be recycled in a responsible way, however, the only downside to my trade is that Envirophone sent me two cheques in two envelops - that wasn’t very environmentally friendly.
Here is a list of thing’s I don’t like. The list is in no particular order.
People that are cruel to animals
Polluters
People that throw rubbish on the street
People that spit on the street
Dirty people i.e. somalians, gays and people that are just dirty.
People that think they know everything
People sending invites to pointless, stupid and useless applications on Facebook
Fat, lazy people
Smoking
British people that cannot hold their liquor
The French
French Canadians
Ubisoft because they’ve spammed me useless information and wouldn’t stop despite the fact I sent them multiple requests to do so.
Microsoft UK
Videogamer.com and the dope that runs it. This is because they use people for what they can get out of them
L.S. because she’s one of the most annoying and irritating people in the UK
Employment agencies
The current Government
Paying stupid amounts of money in tax
That’s what I don’t like. Tell me, what don’t you like?

After a four month respite from blogging I’m back… in July I decided to take a break from the blogging world and this was primely due to working at London Heathrow, taking a six week vacation in Canada and a few friends constantly whining at me to get back into blogging.
My blog’s design will remain unaffected. The content of my blog will pretty much remain focused on the subjects that I’ve covered over the past few years. I will continue to pimp cool product’s and services. And, of course, I will continue to be critical of products and companies that deserve to be criticized.
Normal service will now resume.

I took this picture at Wood Green tube station yesterday morning. I was able to travel all over London for free due to a systems crash with Oyster computer systems. However, according to a few sources there seems to be massive amount of fraud taking place with the system. Either that or Osyter was hacked and down for more than four hours yesterday. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen.
On Saturday morning I ventured over to Shepherds Bush VUE cinema to meet up with a some friends and a number of geeks. We were all privileged enough to have been invited to an early screening of the new Pixar animation movie; Wall-E. (Wall-E is due out on general release in the UK on the 18th July 2008).
Wall-E was a pretty good movie and I really enjoyed it. The animation was superb and the comedy was excellent. I’ve never laughed so much during a movie. I highly recommend you go and watch Wall-E when it’s released next week.
Special thanks goes out to @mseckington and @cbetta.
Last night, I took a train over to Orpington to visit a lady who was selling a puppy. The lady brought the pup a few days ago from a couple of people who didn’t look after the pup too well. She’s malnourished and it’s my job to fatten up the little mutt. In no way, shape or form is Mojo a replacement for Trixie.

I find it disgusting the way some people treat animals. I don’t understand why someone would purposely want to starve an animal to death. Although in retrospect I do prefer animals over human beings… simply because you won’t find them f**king each other over for money, a promotion or anything else.
“Vancouverism” is fast replacing “Manhattanism” as the maximum power setting for shaping the humane mixed-use city, important ideas for a new era of scarce energy and diminished natural resources. Source.
Not long until the exhibition, expo and celebrations begin. I’ll be attending all of the events throughout the summer. Coverage from the events will begin next weekend.
